Biography

Dr. Gu received her Medical Degree from Hebei Medical University in 1996 and completed her residency at the Capital Medical University Beijing Chest Hospital in 1999. Dr. Gu then went on to receive a Medical Master’s Degree at the Beijing Tuberculosis and Thoracic Tumor Research Institute in 2002 and received her Medical Doctorate Degree in Oncology in 2013.

With over 20 years of clinical oncology experience, Dr. Gu specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, thoracic cancers, and solid tumors. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gu has served as a visiting scholar at both the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Cancer Institute and Hospital and the University of Maryland in the United States.

Dr. Gu has published over 10 articles in leading medical journals, such as the Chinese Journal of Lung Cancer and the National Medical Journal of China, on topics including the correlation between gene polymorphism and lung cancer susceptibility, and the relationship between metabolic enzyme gene polymorphism and lung cancer susceptibility.

Dr. Gu speaks English and Mandarin.
