Ellen ZHAO

Dr. Ellen Zhao graduated with honors from Bethune Medical University in Changchun (China) in 1990. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital (Beijing). During this time, she was also a visiting scholar at Columbia University (USA).

Dr. Zhao has been an obstetrician and gynecologist for over 20 years. She has worked as a specialist for 16 years with a focus on Endocrinology, infertility, menopausal problems, Oncology and postmenopausal osteoporosis. She has also published numerous papers and articles relating to Obstetrics and Gynecology in various journals and books.

In March 2007, she received the “Clinician of the Year” award from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. In 2011, she was elected as the vice president of Asia Pacific Panel of International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
