Japanese Moms & Kids Gathering
On April 18, a group gathering for Japanese mothers and children was organized in the Yurt at Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics (BJU). About 25 mothers and children participated in the event. During the gathering, the mothers and children had fun singing Japanese songs and listening to Japanese stories read by one of the mothers. Some mothers just moved to Beijing in April, and they were happy to make new mommy friends far away from their home country. This group gathering will continue to be held at least once every month for Japanese mothers to give them the opportunity to connect with other Japanese families.
