The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at BJU provides high-quality, international-standard (evidence-based) care that serves the health needs of women of every age. Here you will find the full range of women’s healthcare services in a uniquely warm, patient- and family-centered environment.
Our internationally-trained staff of obstetricians, gynecologists, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, neonatologists, midwives, and nurses provide services from well-woman care to routine checkups to surgery. From adolescence through the reproductive years and menopause, you and your family will feel comfortable and secure at BJU, no matter what your country, language, or culture. We can meet the needs of women at all stages of life.
An in-house doctor is on call 24 hours a day. A second on-call doctor is also available for assistance or a second opinion. Additionally, our pediatricians provide care for all newborn babies.
Our outpatient clinic rooms are modern and well-equipped. Our birthing suites are comfortable and well-suited to your needs. There is no longer any need to travel long distances to find high-quality obstetric and gynecological care.

What Can We Treat?
We can diagnose and treat any gynecological problem you may have, including but not limited to:
- Treatment of abnormal menstrual bleeding or painful periods
- Abnormal PAP tests (we also provide screening for gynecological cancers)
- Contraception, including emergency contraception
- Gynecological infections
- Infertility assessment and initial treatment
- Bladder problems and prolapse
- Psychosexual counseling
