UFH-FESCO IB Medical Insurance
United Family Hospitals (UFH) network of private healthcare facilities, the Healthcare Services division of Chindex International Inc., in conjunction with the FESCO Insurance Brokerage Company Ltd (FESCO IB), the insurance brokerage arm of the well-known Chinese company FESCO (Foreign Enterprise Service Corporation), have joined forces to produce a Medical Insurance Program that is the first of its kind in China.
The product is the first ever premium service commercial Medical Insurance Program for Chinese nationals in China. It will allow Chinese nationals and Expatriates, who are not covered by their employer, to enjoy the benefits of private and VIP level health care in China and around the world.
The program has been approved by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission and allows for Chinese currency settlement in China. The United Family Hospitals network, with its five hospital and clinic locations in Beijing and Shanghai, is the preferred medical service provider for the plan. As a Global Medical Insurance Program it also covers over 5000 hospitals world wide as well as Grade three hospital VIP services in China.

United Family Hospitals and Clinics has direct billing arrangements in place with 22 providers and the list is growing. The plans are not all alike. They range from comprehensive plans that are designed for more frequent use with cover for annual check-ups, mammography, genealogical exams, prostate screening, vaccinations and dental options, to somewhat simple plans that have been designed primarily for protection when it is needed most, in case of an emergency or serious illness.
